Beauty and style are just a couple of the first words that come to mind when you see the 2019 Santa Fe. It has a wide stance, a strong appearance but the soft curves offset the rugged and tough exterior. Loaded with technology and great safety features there is so much going on inside this small SUV, you may just consider it your next vehicle for your family.

Innovative Safety Features to Protect What Matter Most

As a standard all cars are required to come with seat belts and air bags. And as technology advances so does the safety features included in your new vehicle. The 2019 Santa Fe comes loaded with safety features but they’re paving the road for other safety features.

Hyundai has taken a special look at how their cars are used and now offers Rear Occupant Alert, a back up step for those busy days that you may forget something in the back. As you are leaving the car, the car will alert you if there is weight or anything in the back seat that you may have forgotten. If you miss that warning, the car will send you an alert to your phone or email if it detects movement within the back seat. While it’s not meant to be a fail safe, it is a great back up to prevent anything bad from happening.

And any parent of small kids know that as soon as they hear the car stop they want out. Hyundai now has the option for you to delay their exit from the back seat and monitor if oncoming traffic may become a problem. All the controls are at your finger tips in the front seat, and just one more way Hyundai is protecting your family and what is most important to you.

Reduced Eye Fatigue with Heads Up Display Technology

To help make your drive easier, Hyundai has included a Heads Up Display (HUD) in the windshield. Projected in your view is your current speed, any traffic that may be in your blind spot, the speed limit for the road (in most cases) and even your turn by turn directions. While this may seem simple, the use of a HUD actually reduces your eye motion while driving and keeps your attention on the road. Not only will this help reduce your eye fatigue but makes you a more attentive driver.

Designed for The Way You Live

If you’re team SUV like I am, you use it as an every day car but really need it for the storage capabilities. This is where the Hyundai Santa Fe shines. On a regular day there is ample storage in the cargo area in the vehicle, but if you are hauling something larger and need more space it offers fold flat rear seats. To get them to fold, it just takes a push of a button and you wont have that awkward angle trying to get items in the back.

The larger roof also makes it easy to put on cargo bars so you take your bikes, camping gear or whatever you need with you.

It not only has a great look that you’ll be proud to roll up to Valet in, but you can haul everything you need on a regular day as well. The flexibility in storage options it has everything you need to keep your family on the go.

The spacious cargo area in the Santa Fe will more than fit luggage, while your back seat passengers will have leg room to make it through long hours on the road. Add in the panoramic sun roof and you’ll have views for everyone to enjoy as you hit the road in style.

Control of Everything – At just an Arms Reach Away

Let’s talk about our tech, we all have a phone that is permanently attached to us. So how does that help up when driving the Santa Fe? Of course, like most newer vehicles, you will have blue-tooth technology linking your calls and contacts to the car’s phone system. But with the Santa Fe’s new condensed center console you have access to your music, satellite radio, Android Auto, Apple Car play and navigation right on the 8 inch touch screen display. The center console has wireless charging capabilities, and USB ports for charging (and one for Data transferred and music play back) right by the driver. Control your music, your cruise control, you heated and cooled seats just with the touch of buttons while keeping your eyes on the road.

Don’t worry about those passengers in the back seat, there are 2 USB ports back there to help keep them charged and entertained as well. With great audio system through the Santa Fe, you’ll stay charged and entertained no matter where the road takes you.
